Caleb turned 4 months old yesterday and I couldn't be more in love with the little man. He is so much fun and such a happy baby! The only time he really fusses is when he's hungry or tired-both easy fixes! He usually sleeps 8 hours a night-my mom is seriously the baby whisperer. She helped me get him into a better sleep routine and showed me how to help him get himself to sleep. She's also a lot stronger than I am when it comes to letting him cry-she stepped right in and took over right when I was ready to give in to the crying. It took a couple nights, but what a difference! I now simply lay him down in his crib, give him a corner of his blankie to hold on to, and his pacifier to suck and he settles right down and falls asleep. It's amazing! So grateful for my mom's help!
He's been rolling over, holding on to toys, and reaching for things (shoot-now I have to make sure to keep things out of his reach). The other day I was eating a cookie with him in my arms and he started reaching for it! He also LOVES to stand! He thinks he's big stuff when he's standing. I love listening to his shrieks and giggles. Such a precious boy.
We went to the doctor for his 4 month check-up today. Caleb weighs 15 lbs 6 oz! He is 27 & 1/4 inches--above the 97th percentile for height! Little dude is gonna be a tall one! So thankful for my little guy and loving every moment.
